BCJHS Announcements



Friday, December 13th            SOAR Behavior Reward Field Trip in December:  Students must earn the field trip by not having more than one discipline referral to the office from August 7th until the time of the field trip.  Students are also disqualified if they are suspended from school during the semester.   December Attendance Challenge Standings:  1st Place - Mrs. Hendey, 2nd Place - Mr. Schwenk, 3rd Place - Mrs. Oliver, 4th Place - Mrs. Stanley, 5th Place - Mr. Potts The Character Education Theme for December is Caring.  Caring and concern for others are at the root of the Golden Rule.  Treat others as you would want them to treat you!! After School Tutoring:  Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-4pm.  Please contact the BCJHS office at 988-6605 to confirm a spot. Career Education:  Friday, December 13th - The Trades (PE/Health Classes) The first rehearsal for the high school musical Matilda will be Tuesday, January 7th from 3:15-6pm.  Congratulations to the following junior high students who were chosen to be part of the cast: Lily Voils, Lela Leslie, Aubrey Harden, Liam Cassiday, Joel McClintock, Josh Redmond, and Taylor Myers. All library books must be returned before winter break. Good luck to the BCJHS Robotics team as they compete tomorrow @ the Immanuel Lutheran Invitational in Seymour.  The competition begins at 10am. Good luck to the BCJHS Chess Club at they compete tomorrow @ Jeffersonville High School.   National Science Olympiad will NOT meet next week. Boys’ Basketball will practice today from 3-5pm.  The teams will participate in the BCJHS Invitational tomorrow, Saturday, December 13th.  The games begin at 9am. Girls’ Basketball will NOT practice today Wrestling will NOT practice today

Locker clean up



Students please use your time this week to clean up your lockers.  Trash needs to be thrown away.  Decorations on the outside of locker need to be taken down or put inside your locker.  All food items need to be taken home or thrown away.  Exterior of the lockers will be cleaned over break.
