Brown County Touch-A-Truck

Brown County Touch-A-Truck
UPDATE: If you have little people in your life, you will really want to come to the first Brown County "Touch a Truck" event taking place this Saturday in the parking lot of BCHS.
There are 32 trucks registered to participate in the event where young people will be able to climb in and on each vehicle. In addition to experiencing the trucks, the BC Literacy Coalition will be giving children free books, the Mason's will be providing free child identification kits, Shelby Materials will be handing out construction hats, and the children will be able to decorate their hats with stickers.

The event runs from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with a quiet hour where no sirens or horns will be used from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Admission is free; however, donations are welcome.  ALL proceeds benefit the Brown County Weekend Backpacks program.

Visit the "Touch a Truck" website at:  browncountytouchatruck.com

The Brown County Touch-A-Truck event is a free, hands-on event that provides kids with the opportunity to see, touch and explore their favorite big trucks, heavy equipment and emergency vehicles as well as interact with community support leaders including police officers, firemen, construction workers and more! Bring the entire family to get up and close with these vehicles, learn about what they do, how they work and how they benefit our community! All donations benefit Brown County Weekend Backpacks, a community-led, totally-volunteer program whose goal is keeping hungry Brown County children fed with nutritious food all weekend long. Parent supervision is required and cameras are highly recommended.
