Brown County Schools offers Advanced Placement (AP) Exams in multiple areas including Math and Computer Science, The Arts, English, History and Social Science, and Science.  Students completing AP courses offered at Brown County High School participate in AP Exams.  All exams are administered in May at Brown County High School by trained staff.

***In order to register for any exam, please fill out the following form and return it to the guidance office (with payment) by FRIDAY, MARCH 5!***

AP Test Registration Form

The following tests are paid for by the State of Indiana and are FREE to students. Students in these classes are expected to take the corresponding exam during the date and time it is offered. Any student with a question or concern about these expectations MUST talk to Ms. Janowski (in guidance) no later than FRIDAY, MARCH 5!

  • AP Calculus AB
  • AP Calculus BC
  • AP Physics 1: Algebra Based
  • AP Environmental Science
  • English Language and Composition

The following tests are not paid for by the State of Indiana and cost $93 Checks can be made payable to “Brown County High School”. Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch will have their fees waived. Students in the following classes are highly encouraged to take the corresponding exam during the date and time it is offered. However, students must sign up and pay for the exams in the guidance office by FRIDAY, MARCH 5 in order to be registered for the exam. If cost is a major concern, students must talk to his/her counselor or AP teacher no later than FRIDAY, MARCH 5!
