All library books must be returned by Friday, May 18th. No new books may be checked out of the library for the remainder of the school year.
Mid-Term Progress Reports were distributed to all students during 1st period on Tuesday, May 1st. Students were asked to have them signed by a parent or guardian and returned to their 1st period teacher by, Friday, May 4th.

8th Grade Formal: Friday, June 1st @ Salt Creek Golf Retreat from 7-10pm. Admission is $10
8th grade students who are interested in taking high school summer classes can pick up forms in the main office.
Our Character Education theme for the month of May is “Citizenship”. People of strong character don’t sit on the sidelines. Contribute your “fair share” – participate fully as a concerned student, volunteer, and future voter.
Our SOAR focus this week is “S” (self-control)
BCJHS Spring Sports Awards Program: Wednesday, May 16th @ 6pm in the high school auditorium.
Congratulations to both the girls and boys track teams!! The girls placed 1st and the boys 2nd at the Western Indiana Track & Field Championships this past Saturday. Great job!!
Information about summer open gym for basketball is available in the BCJHS office as well as information about the summer running club.
Athletes who need to wait after school for the start of a contest or practice are not permitted to leave school grounds unless accompanied by a parent. After school supervision will be provided for all athletes in the BCJHS cafeteria.
